Michael has been investing in equity long short for over 20 years. In 2000 he began his career at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers where he was a member of the UK Specialist Team. He then co-managed the UK hedge fund before moving to Park Town Asset Management in 2004 as a joint portfolio manager and equity partner. Since 2007 he has been managing the CapeView Azri Fund with Sushil Shah. The Azri Fund now has one of the longest track records in its European equity long short peer group, with almost 17 years of stable returns, capturing alpha in a wide range of market conditions. Michael has a BSc from the University of Bristol in Economics and Economic History and is a CFA charter holder.
