Douglas Silverman is Managing Partner and Co-Chief Investment Officer at Senator. Prior to co-founding Senator in 2008, Mr. Silverman spent six years at York Capital Management, a global multi-strategy investment firm, where he was a Managing Director and Co-Portfolio Manager of York Global Value Partners. Before that, Mr. Silverman was an Investment Banker in the Leveraged Finance department at Merrill, Lynch & Co. Mr. Silverman is active in a wide range of philanthropic and community activities, both individually and through The Senator Foundation. Mr. Silverman received a B.A. in Economics, cum laude, from Princeton University.
