Joseph Gebran is a Founding Partner and Assistant Portfolio Manager at Melqart, with 19 years of experience in event-driven strategies. Mr Gebran joined Cheyne Capital in March 2010 as an Analyst in the event-driven Team. Prior to that, Mr Gebran spent three years as an Analyst in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs in London, where he was part of the Telecom, Media, and Technology (TMT) group and was involved in various mergers and acquisitions and financing situations. Mr Gebran earned a Master in International Finance from Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) Paris, along with a Master’s in Computer and Network Engineering from Ecole Superieure des Ingenieurs de Beyrouth of Saint-Joseph University, Beirut.
